Dear Beautiful Followers,

I’m currently tweaking my blog and adding a couple pages to it.

But Most importantly,

I’ve added a support section on my <3 tab that will include blogs of people who suffer from illnesses such as Lupus, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Gilbert’s Syndrome, & Celiac Disease.

(Please reply to this if you’d like to be included on that list.  I’m making this in mind for people that need/want someone to relate/talk to. I just want people to know that they are NOT alone. I personally have come across some amazing people who have helped me change my perspective of living with these ailments. )

I know quite of a few tumblers that that are living with these invisible illnesses but I certainly dont want to put you on blast with out permission, so please let me know if you’re willing to accept messages/questions from other fellow suffer-ers. <3

Hope all of you are well and even better, in remission <3

Rollin the MidWest side and out livin’ my life getting’ out dreams
People told me slow my roll I’m screaming out fuck that

if I fall if I die know I lived and missed some bullets.

hey! i just found your tumblr under the ibs tracked tag. hahaa. i also suffer with ibs and i was thinking of smoking weed to help prevent it. i haven't smoked in ages, so i can't remember if it made my stomach feel better, but i know it relaxed me. does it make a huge/noticeable difference for you?

Hi there!

Yeah actually, I feel a whole lot better. Usually I wake up and smoke a bowl, go to work for 8 hours then come home and smoke. Durring the hours when I’m at work I feel awful. Its a gnarly pain that is never soothed but with in 20 mins of smoking my “bowels”/stomach feels a lot more calm.

Marijuana is a natural anti-inflammatory and reduces the swelling/inflammation  almost immediately. It relaxes the muscles in your body for sure, and causes me, at least, to not be as tense. I used to take painkillers everyday, to the point where they were no longer effective and I was taking extremely high does just to feel a little bit of relief but I’ve completely stopped needing them. I mean, the pain isnt 100% gone of course but its almost non-existant, I can function regularly and go about my day with out having to deal with an upset/sore stomach.

Also I found that a change in my diet (cutting out fried/greasy) did wonders for my IBS, as well as cutting out all forms of stress I had in my life. Obviously IBS is something I’ll have to live with the rest of my life but marijuana really has made a huge difference and I will always recommend it to people who have any chronic pain and even people with sleeping/eating disorders.

Do you actually take medical marijuana for your IBS? I have it and im not sure how to get it as a perscribed....

:] Yeah I do!  I feel almost immediate relief for my stomach/muscle pain. Getting a prescription depends on the state you live in. Do you live in a medical marijuana state? And What symptoms do you feel with your IBS?

<3

p.s. im sorry you have it, it sucks!!! :(

2:50 AM

So, due to the fact that I can not sleep I feel the need to catch up on the happenings in my life.

(because, it is my blog after all and what else is it good for?)

1. The Colonoscopy & Endoscopy went well. The prep for it was awful. The laxative/body flush tasted like liquid death and not eating for two days SUCKED. But I’m glad I was forced to flush out my system, it was good for my overall well being I like to think. (Oh and the results were mostly negative though they think I might have Celiac Disease/A Gluten Alergy so I’m on a gluten free diet)

2. They found out I have Fibromyalgia, IBS, and Gilbert’s Syndrome. So that’s just wonderful. (But hey! It could always be worse! )

Fibromyalgia, for those of you that don’t know, is a common syndrome in which a person has long-term, body-wide pain and tenderness in the joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Fibromyalgia has also been linked to fatigue, sleep problems, headaches, depression, and anxiety.  Hoorah!

Gilbert’s Syndrome produces an elevated level of unconjugated bilirubin in the bloodstream but it normally has no serious consequences. Mild jaundice may appear under conditions of exertion, stress, fasting, and infections. Other symptoms include fatigue, difficulty maintaining concentration, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, loss of weight and more.

IBS is a disorder that leads to abdominal pain and cramping, changes in bowel movements, and other symptoms.

And then there’s the Lupus on top on all of that.

So yeah, that’s mah life. Sounds like a shit-ton of fun huh?
